Product Description

The Petzl Zyper Y Vertigo is a Y shaped lanyard that is specifically designed for use on Via Ferrata and Klettersteig routes. It will give complete protection in the event of a fall through its ability to dynamically absorb the falls energy.

Effective energy absorbing system
Y Shaped webbing lanyards
Special very high strength stitching for the join between the rope and the two strands of the Y-shaped lanyard: no bulky knot.
Breaking rope stows neatly onto gear loops
Webbing loop for larks foot attachment to harness
Braking rope is neatly stored on the equipment loop of the harness.
Two Vertigo Auto locking karabiners supplied which are simple and quick to clip for increased safety.

I have had this for a few years and used it a number of times mainly in Switzerland and on relatively short routes. Have total confidence in its ability, although I have never been in a situation to try it out for real, thankfully

I have been using Vertigo on Italian ferratas, it is light, easy and fast in use. Never had to experience a fall either but I totally trust it :)
