It features tiny taped seams, water tight zippers and reinforced shoulders & elbows. The hip length, with drop-back hem, minimizes excess fabric. Other details: no lift underarms, reinforced elbows and a helmet compatible hood.

Personal Opinion

A fantastic shell. Bomb proof. I have never been wet yet. I wear it climbing, hiking, skiing and snow mobiling. It is great. Best with the Beta AR pant.

Great Jacket - A Touch Short

I bought this jacket second hand and have been happy with its performance. I use it sparingly so I appreciate its light weight. It is technically sound and does not limit mobility at all.

The one complaint is that I do find it is short in the torso. Perhaps it is me, but I have heard similar complaints from other tall people.

Although I have been happy with the jacket, if I were to do it over again, I would likely hold out for the Alpha.
