Product Description

Standard three-piece poles with a twist-locking mechanism. In addition to the typical ski-pole type grip, these include a foam grip extending another 6 inches below the standard grip. The tips are carbide, the baskets interchangeable. They are red.

These are basic poles, which suit me fine. I have been especially happy with the carbide tips, which have a different pattern that, in my experience, gets a better grip on rocks than the BD and REI poles do. My only complaint is that the sections will collapse on rare occassions, which could--but hasn't--result in a pretty nasty spill.
