Voted 5/5 | ...because this is my all time favorite harness. I use this harness for every thing! I gym , sport, trad and ice climb in it as well as mountaineering. It probably could be a bit lighter but I would rather have all the features.
The stiff gear forward gear loops are easy to use and get gear on and off of but I don't find that the gear forward feature makes a difference to my leading. This harness has proven to be very durable and has survived four years of my using it on a regular basis.
When well (properly adjusted) this harness is very comfortable. As with any harness if you are planning on hanging in it for a long time I would make sure you have adjusted the waist belt tight enough or your legs will take too much of the load.
I bought an Adjama for a light weight sport climbing harness but I wish it had the same two buckle adjustment system that the Corax has. The Corax can fit a wide range of body types and if you want to have a second harness on hand for guest climbers then get one of these. Probably a size one unless you have really big friends.

Voted 5/5 | I realy like this harness. Not too heavy, only about 500 gr. Very comfortable, I realy don't feel it while walking. Belt is very ergonomic, it is possible to hang in this harness for quiet a long time without feeling much discomfort. Handy, easy accessable rack spaces. I got size Nr 2, it is bit wide for legs, but waist can be ajusted any way. I have bought this size to be able to put it over much closing without problems, but it also works great at gym with only a t-shirt on. Dual buckles at waist allow to ajust it very quickly, almost with one move. I am very satisfied. | | Posted Jan 23, 2007 2:11 pm | | rickford | Nice harness overall. | |
Hasn't voted | The harness is very adjustable and fairly comfortable. My only complaint is the elastic hook that connects the leg loops to the back of the waist belt- which tends to fall off on occasion. This is extremely annoying! Over all, I like the harness and have used it for trad/sport climbing as well as glacier travel. | | Posted Jul 22, 2007 7:36 pm |
