The Badger Super is a vast 66" wide at the shoulder and 41" at the foot. The girth is kept in line with a warm down filled collar that provides a formidable barrier preventing convective heat loss. Its draft tube is stoutly filled and protected from zipper jams by a Dacron™ stiffener. The hood is cut large and fills around your face without having to be cinched tight. You get the comfort of a large volume bag in weather resistant MicroLite XP™ fabric while 23 oz. of 850+ down keeps this bag lofted to 6".--from the Western Mountaineering Site |

Voted 5/5 | If more stars were available, I'd probably give this bag even more. It is beautifully made. It's the warmest, most luxurious, most comfortable bag ever. A lot of superlatives but all merited. I have had this bag very close to its rated temperature without being at all cold or having to really zip it closed. | | Posted Feb 15, 2005 3:21 pm | | twoshuzz | Nice Bag | |
Voted 5/5 | A well made bag that performs well for me.Although temp ratings are subjective to both user and manufacturer, I find Western's bags to hit pretty close to the mark. Again, a bag is only one part of the entire sleep system. One thing I've learned is that with the lightweight fabrics of today, sewing for repair is limited at best. Seam grip and patch seems to be the way to go. Otherwise, no complaints. | | Posted Jan 23, 2009 11:31 pm |
