Product DescriptionVersatile thin crack pro, trapezoidal Micro Stoppers feature a subtle curve on their longest face for maintaining utility in near-parallel cracks while still catching on crystals and irregularities. You can also turn them 90° for a broad flare. Their patented swaging system increases cable durability.
Micro-Stoppers : On Cleaning Micro-Stoppers
The easiest way to remove them and ensure thier longevity is to tap them out with a nut tool or wriggle them out gently. Repeated bending of the cable will ultimately lead to fraying or breaking. Avoid yanking them out forcibly. Always inspect your Micro-Stoppers each time you climb and retire them at the first sign of fraying. Information is non-exhaustive. Always read the instructions and warnings that accompany your gear.

Reviews | jfox | Man I love these things! | |
Voted 5/5 | I recently have been finding myself on routes with thin cracks etc. and I had no way to protect them. So began my quest to find small gear. I began by buying the C3 Camalots, but more recently, I discovered these beauties. They place really well in a variety of orientations and are built solid, solid, solid. Very light-weight too. They are not as wide as BD's regular stoppers, so they'll fit in places those other's won't. Try them, I think you'll be pleased. I only have #2, #3, #4. Not sure if I'd ever buy the #1 as I don't aid, but I'll probably pick up the largest size one of these days. | | Posted Aug 13, 2008 12:42 pm |
