    It is not as user friendly as I hoped. The battery you need to get from Magellan, as it is proprietary. Also I am not able to upload maps from TOPO software programs like Memory-Map easily, I should be able to but can't get it to work. So I just use it when I hike. I plan to maybe get a GARMIN as my next GPS as I understand they are more user friendly and don't have proprietary batteries.
