Voted 5/5 | This is the book I pick up when I'm considering doing a peak in the Death Valley or southern Nevada area. The author, Andy Zdon, has climbed almost all the peaks he has listed, some of them more than once. His knowledge of the area that the peak is in and his love for the desert comes through in the pages of his book. I have the original version and now the recently published updated version. However, in comparing the two books, I can find very few differences. So the original version would be more than adequate for most.
