Voted 5/5 | It’s a great pack it fits well, holds weight well and is durable. It’s a little heavy but worth the extra weight. | | Posted Jan 24, 2007 5:02 am | | Dennis Poulin | Denali Pro
Hasn't voted | Great pack and very rugged. This is for expeditions! IT worked well for me on Denali. You can load it up with more stuff than you can carry. | | Posted Feb 21, 2007 4:50 pm | | brusy | Denali pro
Voted 4/5 | With all of the above I agree. But the pack is far from perfect. It's sleeping bag compartment opening is too small to fit a bigger bag through! It's heavy, but that is ok as it is for expeditions. But they shouldn't save few more ounces on the side mesh pockets... They are easy to tear, if you put wands or pickets in them... Also they are difficult or impossible to use if your pack is fully loaded. To attach the snowshoes to full pack is tough!! For what it costs it could have the waterproof zippers too. This pack is very overpriced, fortunately I bought mine for $300 brand new on eBay...
It is a great pack, but I wanted to point out some cons for the potential buyers too.... | | Posted Mar 28, 2007 4:48 pm | | cacheshier | Big Daddy! | | Hasn't voted | This pack is just that; a Big Daddy, that is more than capable of getting the job done any time the loads get big and heavy. This pack is ready for Everest if you are! Enough said! | | Posted Apr 3, 2007 8:33 pm |
