Voted 5/5 | Due to the size and weight, the Squirt is perfect for the backcountry. The size and strength is the perfect combo. This is a very high quality multi-tool. I've had cheaper versions which broke or malfunctioned, but the feel and construction of the Squirt is solid and sturdy. I've used it a couple of times with good results. | | Posted Oct 25, 2003 7:30 pm | | miztflip | Untitled Review
Voted 5/5 | The great thing about this tool is that it is light and durable while still being a functional tool for quick backcountry repairs. The pliers, while not full sized, are still large enough for most gear repair jobs.
No frills such as cork screws and forks to cluter up the tool and add unwanted weight.
The spring in the pliers makes one handed operation easy.

Hasn't voted | I love the pliers the most but use all of the various tools. The screwdrivers have come in handy when needing to tighten those little screws in my glasses and sunglasses. Anyway, it always comes with me when I venture into the backcountry! | | Posted Jan 23, 2007 7:56 pm | | kwag | Small but useful
Voted 5/5 | It has all the necessary features for backpacking and camping in general, but its only 2 ounces. The pliers are even big enough for pulling fish hooks out. Great product and you can't even feel its weight. | | Posted Apr 18, 2007 11:38 am |
