Product Description

Avy gear, breathable outerwear, and energy gel are damn near useless if your climbing skins leave you struggling to keep up with the pack (argh … that’s the fifth time the skin has popped off the tip of your ski). Enter the G3 Women’s Alpinist elle Climbing Skins.

Innovative tip connector features pivoting (self-aligning) steel hands mounted on a curved, low-profile polyurethane crossbar, so the skin doesn't get kicked off as you ascend
Tail strap laminated directly into skin fabric creates a strong, low-profile bond that improves glide performance and reduces weight
Fast gliding plush fabric is lightweight and supple for enhanced performance G3’s glue formula works exceptionally in all snow conditions
Ripstrip thin film placed on the sticky side makes it easier to pull the skin apart when folded

""You cannot stay on the summit forever; you have to come down again. So why bother in the first place? Just this: What is above knows what is below, but what is below does not know what is above. One climbs, one sees. One descends, one sees no longer, but one has seen. There is an art of conducting oneself in the lower regions by the memory of what one saw higher up. When one can no longer see, one can at least still know.""   --Rene Daumal
