Voted 1/5 | I purchased these boots after hearing about the great Merrell reputation for quality. I thought that they fit great while in the store.
It took a while to break them in suffering many blisters and sore feet. About the time they started feeling really good they started coming apart. The stitching on both shoes on the inward outside of the shoe just busted wide open!!
We hiked and climbed just over 200 miles this summer in Northwestern Montana...mostly in rugged Glacier National Park. After paying $120 for these I fully expected and hoped to get at least two full hiking seasons out of them.
I am very disappointed in this product and would not purchase it again and may not purchase any Merrell footwear in the future. | | Posted Oct 28, 2009 9:52 pm |
