Voted 5/5 | After purchasing the heavier Sabertooth Pro's by BD, I decided to give these a try as they were available at the Black Diamond Store locally here in Utah. I purchased the strap version, and made several successful alpine ascents with them. They have more aggressive traction than the Compact Straps, yet are not as heavy as the Sabertooths. The ABS base helps to keep snow from balling up underneath, and the polished steel looks great and holds up very well to mixed routes.
