Voted 3/5 | For a liquid fuel stove, the simmer ability is outstanding and the power of this stove is excellent. It is a better stove for winter camping or mountaineering. It's too heavy for three season alpine, especially when there are several ultra-lite canister stoves out there. The stove is somewhat of a pain in the neck to pump up and use, and sometimes you get fuel on your hands. I never used it with car gas or kerosene but I guess that would be a good feature if traveling abroad. Pros: Very hot, boils fast, good in low temperatures, multi-fuel option. Voted 4/5 | Although I don't actually own this stove, I've use it a lot in boy scouts on various backpacking and camping trips. It is a tough stove and it works great, even in the snow (I've used several of them). No priming required. The retro lunar lander look is also a plus.
