Product Description

Designed by John Middendorf and Barry Ward in the late 80's (A5/HURRICANE) to compliment the RURP in thin marginal seam and BAT HOOK placements for both granite and sandstone bold aid routes.

**NO LONGER MANU'D but if you can get a couple or more as they sometimes appear in EBAY, do so and add these wonders to your aid rack.***

Personal Experience

Man are they the ticket on bold thin seam and BAT HOOKING leads. They are also a great addition when Clean Aiding a route as they can be hand placed in an old knifeblade or bugboo scar, weighted and will become a BOMBER piece that can be trusted. I have taken 20' flyer's on several occassions on them when used in the BAT HOOK scenario and they HELD and stopped my fall. I will never get rid of em and they are always with me on any aid gig, period!
