Voted 5/5 | Because of the brush, canyoneering and off-trail travel in the San Gabriel Mountains can be different than in other locales. These 15” loppers cut with the ease of a razor sharp knife so you can efficiently work your way through very dense thicket. And it’s amazing how light they are being made of reinforced fiberglass composite materials. I have found putting these loppers in my canyoneering pack well worth it in the San Gabriels. You can probably get them for less than the listed price above at places like Target. Add a pruning saw to your brush clearing gear and you can get through virtually anything
