Voted 5/5 | This is an awesome magazine for people who like to backpack and explore the great outdoors. The articles are well written and interesting. Each month the magazine highlights different wilderness destinations around the continent. I enjoy reading about new places to go and looking at their beautiful photos.
Both novice and more advanced outdoor enthusiasts should find the tips and techniques very informative. They include useful suggestions for a wide variety of topics such as cross training, medical advice, ways to reduce pack weight, wildlife tips, and camp recipes.

Voted 4/5 | Got a free copy of this from Eastern Mountain Sports. Wasn't really interested until I opened it up and looked at it. Now I've got a subscription to it. As a "newbie" to the great sport of hiking/backpacking...I find it has a lot of info for me...and stuff I'll use later.
