Product DescriptionA full coverage down parka for winter mountaineering by Patagonia.
The parka is made of 800-fill-power down and a polyester shell fabric that is durable, lightweight, fully windproof, downproof and water-repellent.
The baffles are articulated to keep the down evenly distributed for optimal warmth, fit and mobility. Fabric reinforcements on shoulders and cuffs increase durability. The parka comes with attached drawcorded hood that fits over a helmet. Other fine points include soft, perforated hook-and-loop elasticized wrist cuffs, a down filled neck gasket and an insulated storm flap with intermittent hook-and-loop closures covering center front zipper.
The parka has 5 pockets: zippered left chest, two zippered diagonally oriented handwarmer, and two internal mesh drop-in pockets.
Fit is relaxed for layering.

Reviews | JanVanGenk | Nice lightweight parka | |
Voted 5/5 | Very lightweight, yet warm. Fits easily over a GoreTex jacket. Highly compressible and packs small. The outer fabric is ok, but the inner fabric is not very durable. Mine is about 2 years old and has been on 3 expeditions and on a few winter climbs; the inner fabric has become very "hairy" at some places. Nevertheless, the damaged fabric is still downproof and seems intact. Let's see for how long... | | Posted Dec 7, 2007 11:40 am |
