Dow Williamsvery impressed....

with this up and coming manufacture of climbing gear, started by a couple of Czech climbers back in the 90's. I particularly like their harness line and am trying out my first one which involves some patented technology (rock and lock) on the buckle which makes sense to me. They have this harness at a good weight to padding ratio and all three buckles are the same, both leg and waist. Like the way they did their sizes.

The ChiefMy Alpine/Ice Rig...

Voted 5/5

I use it strictly as my Alpine/Ice rig. Works perfectly with a pair of attached "Ice Clippers", one on each foward side of the swami, nice quality construction & design and is available at a great price. Awesome deal!

""You cannot stay on the summit forever; you have to come down again. So why bother in the first place? Just this: What is above knows what is below, but what is below does not know what is above. One climbs, one sees. One descends, one sees no longer, but one has seen. There is an art of conducting oneself in the lower regions by the memory of what one saw higher up. When one can no longer see, one can at least still know.""   --Rene Daumal
