The excellent botanical drawings are invaluable for confirmation of identification in ways that even the best written technical description cannot match. A good line drawing is the next best thing to having an actual specimen in hand and will always be better than even a color photo because characters needed for identification can usually be drawn to detail better than what a photo can capture. The drawings in this manual are among the best found in any local or regional flora.
Unfortunately this book may be very hard to find and thus very expensive. At the time of this review, only one is available on Amazon for $489.
