benjamingrayGreat product

This is a great bivy.

Likes: Very roomy - you can pull your pack and other gear inside if you needed to
The bug mesh is invaluable
Packs down nicely, lightweight
I'm really happy with the overall shape - even in a storm you can just pull down the head cover and keep ventilation holes that point downward near your head

Dislikes: Without a side zipper, it can be a little challenging to place a sleeping pad inside

I've also used the MH conduit bivy for comparison. The Conduit has an open face and I switched to the Micronight for the bug mesh and the storm flap. The Aurora bivy by Outdoor Research is a full waterproof version of the Micronight (5 oz heavier). After a call to OR to verify the difference, they told me that if you allowed water to pool up on the fabric of the Micronight, it could eventually leak through. If there was a decent chance of heavy rain, I'd be bringing a tent anyway.
