Voted 5/5 | I've built these stoves myself with metal shears, 2 soda cans, and a 1/16th and 1/4" bit. They are extremely reliable but the can stove requires a fireproof base and something to hold the pots. This lightweight marvel comes with both, is as easy to use as the homemade version and is well worth the $30. Make sure that the legs and pot stands are assembled straight though, chinese manufacturer has some quality consistency issues with the legs and stands. A nice light addition to your pack with a few ounces of alcohol. It will burn higher percentage rubbing alcohol but stick with the denatured alcohol for clean flame and to ease long term maintenance. | | Posted Aug 17, 2007 7:40 pm |
