Voted 5/5 | This larger superlight style pack is designed very well! The several zippered compartments make for easy organizing and loading, especially valuable for access to your essentials while on the trail. The mesh covered hydration cavity between the AirSpeed frame and your back make for a comfortable hike, if you get warm. Use of a hydration pack will offset the inconvenient accessability to your water bottles when stored in the stretch side pockets.
I have found the Atmos 65 to be rugged and comfortable. Like all Osprey packs, it is highly adjustable. Heavy loads carried over extended periods on the trail will make themselves known in the form of pack sag. The shoulder straps and hipbelt have been designed for big weight savings, so it is advisable to keep the overall packed weight down. The AirSpeed suspension is top-notch. If you plan smart, the Atmos 65 can easily replace some of the bigger packs...

Hasn't voted | I have the smaller version of this bag and was disappointed with the zippered compartment on the lid -- it jams each and every time you access it. Very aggravating but a common problem on many mass produced packs. Voted 5/5 | Bought this at REI with rebate after a year of checking every pack I could to replace my Alpine Lowe 7plus pound monster. My son and I both used this pack on a three day climb of Glacier Peak in WA. We are both very happy with its comfort, size, extras like the waist belt zipper pockets, dual ice axe loops with cool shock cord grippers for the handles, insteac of nylon loops, and more. We were a little concerned it could hold three days of junk, but we got 37 pounds in there...tent, bag food gear rope (shared junk), but no space problem. Voted 5/5 | I've taken this pack on two trips so far, both in Shenandoah National Park. I can load this pack with everything needed for a 3 day weekend trip and still have room. Even when loaded with 35-40 lbs I can barely feel the weight because the ErgoPull hip belt fits so well. I like having the extra pockets on the outside so I don't have to dig through the pack to look for my water filter or a pair of dry socks.
