TorstenWA Great Gear Bag...

Voted 5/5

I purchased this bag for my recent Himalayan trek. It was crammed full of gear and ended up as check-on baggage for 18000+ miles of flights. It withstood the daily abuse of being portered by yaks, all the way up to Everest basecamp. Imagine being scraped along rocks every once in a while, for 45 miles each way! None of the bags were ever handled gently, being packed and un-packed at every camp. Nothing failed or tore the entire trip. I used a small stainless steel lock on the zipper tabs, and never had a problem. REI's lifetime guarantee is a nice plus, but probably won't ever be needed...
