Dan DaltonI don't own one of these...

Voted 4/5

but have climbed on one a few times. As far as I can tell, it is just as good as any other rope out there and comperable in price and specifications. The only thing that I did not like was that the ends seemed to be frayed after the tape came off. Most ropes have the ends closed off or welded with a rubber cap, but this one only had a little tape, and once it came off the end was pretty frayed. Maybe something for petzl to work on since this is their first line of ropes. Overall and decent rope.

"A hundred and forty million years ago a creature struggled to escape the hostile horizontal world. It became lean and strong and developed into a magnificent climber. Then, driven by sucess and the gear of evolution, it developed the feather. For the father of the modern bird, downclimbing had become a thing of the past."   --Arc'teryx Creedo
