I doubted whether to buy one of the Suuntos (Vector, Observer) or the Polar; decided for the latter, partially because I've had very good experience with their S-series model. Moreover, one of the determining factors was that Polar's display screen was far more scratch proof than that of the Suunto watches (at least for the models I've had in mind), and the fact that you can read a display at whatever angle without any problems - the display is cristal clear! Last but not least, the Polar's look is also better, especially that of the limited Batura II Expedition edition. The watch has plenty of functions and is easy to use. So far I am very satisfied!
