jfoxMy thoughts...

Voted 5/5

I have used this pack extensively for summer as well as winter mountaineering in the Tetons, Rocky Mountain National Park and Colorado's 10-Mile Range. It holds a lot of gear, is comfortable and has tons of external attachment points for mucho gear as well as for snowboards.

I can and have carried MSR snowshoes, Grivel crampons, two ice tools, trekking poles, two Nalgene water bottles and a helmet on the outside of this pack and they stay in place. The pack has many tie down straps and lots of adjustment options. It rides close to the body so will not throw you off balance when climbing crux setions etc.
