Hasn't voted | As rasgoat says, this book is fun just to read. It's spent a lot of time in my hallway "office." Seriously, though, it is detailed, well-written, and has excellent maps and diagrams. Novices and experts alike will find this guide indispensable. Sometimes, it's so good that it almost takes the fun out of the climb by making you feel the climb through it, but that changes quickly once you go. | | Posted Mar 8, 2007 3:52 am | | Bill Reed | The Benchmark
Voted 5/5 | It's all here. This is the book that all others on the subject will be measured against. Great descriptions, maps and photos.

Voted 5/5 | If you're going to climb a 14er buy this book. You won't need any other. | | Posted May 26, 2008 12:39 pm | | Alika | Great Book
Voted 5/5 | Don't expect descriptions on different conditions- it assumes summer conditions for basically everything, and it is not that in depth at all in terms of technical climbs, but its otherwise a great guide to 14ers | | Posted Mar 9, 2010 12:28 pm |
