Peregrine
Our wider version of a -25° F expedition bag, the Peregrine wasn't designed with just larger people in mind. The ample inside girth also allows room for down clothing or for stowing gear and water bottles. Made for expedition use, the Peregrine's wider hood opening provides extra comfort during extended tent-bound conditions. The cut on the Peregrine gives an extra 3" across the shoulders, a spacious 4" across the hips and an extra inch in the footbox compared with the otherwise identical Ptarmigan. All this extra room only adds an extra four ounces in weight. On Himalayan peaks the Peregrine and Ptarmigan (used with down clothing) have kept climbers warm at 40 below, caught without a shelter at 28,000 feet. Professional guides and climbers who are sponsored by other bag manufacturers rely on our bags when the photo shoot ends and the climb begins.
