It takes you from mountain to mountain. The Montana Mitt is waterproof and breathable, with a handwarmer pocket on the back of the hand so that you're prepared for even the most brutal weather.

These mitts are quite warm. The hand warmer pockets are a good idae but are small, some hand warmers won't fit inside. The palm and finger area is very tough and has good grip. The inside of the mitten is like a fleece glove stiched inside a mitten shell, all fingers have their own hole. I also like the arm cord that tightens down, I lose gloves alot, but not any more. A very good mitt overall.
