This pack was a great replacement to my 15 year old, non-hydration Dana Design pack. This new pack has all the comforts that I have come to expect from Dana Design. My main use for the pack is peak bagging and this pack holds all of your gear secure whether you are carrying only a small load of summer gear or a large amount of winter gear. I use this pack while trail running as well and the load stays nicely secured to my pack while allowing excellent mobility. Getting the straps/harness setup to my frame took some experimenting but in the end I got a great fit. Deciding to get this pack was also helped out by the fact that SierraTradingPost was selling last years model for $71.96 (originally $155.00).
