Voted 4/5 | This is a bomber GoreTex jacket. It keeps the rain and snow out pretty well. It is light and roomy. The hood will cover a helmet. I take this shell anywhere from winter hiking in the Smokies to High Altitude climbing in Peru. The price is high but comparable to other similar jackets. I'd look for it on sale, I was able to get mine for $100 off. This is just one trustworthy jacket and have recommended it several times to other climbers. No problems at all. | | Posted Nov 15, 2005 10:47 am |
