The Viper has superb clearance on vertical and steep ice, so there is little risk of bashing knuckles.
The hourglass grip provides fantastic control, and the pinky rest stops you getting pumped. When combined with the Android leash it makes removing bits of gear much easier, and mixed climbs a lot easier. It also means you can climb leashless if you wish.
The picks are amazing, and will sink deep into hard ice. The picks are also interchangeable with any picks of the Black Diamond rangeImages |
