Voted 2/5 | I got them new this x-mas and put 40 street miles on them before I hiked in them. The first time I tied them tight the glue on the toe protector started to fail. Then after I had about 40 trail miles on them the rubber started to come off the bottom. This can't be normal ware and tare. I have never done anything extreem with them. I will try to return them to EMS tommrow. They better take it. They also give my heels blisters everytime I hike in them. Never when I was breaking them in.
EMS let me exchange them and the are holding up so far. Now only my right heel gets blisters. | | Posted Jun 15, 2005 3:04 pm | | joberly | Work for me | |
Voted 4/5 | Great boots for me. Fit is well for wider feet. I am a EE width and can wear these boots just fine. Hiked in them all season this year and durability has not been an issue. Would recommend them as a lightweight hiker! I added the image, also. | | Posted Nov 4, 2007 9:07 pm |
