The Denali TT is a great ski touring boot because it's full of character and a classy downhill performer! Four buckles and a Velcro strap give a snug fit without closing the foot in a painful vice. An aggressive precise, boot, with great lateral grip, the Denali TT is sensitive with rear and front support promising the extremely powerful turns modern skiing demands - even in difficult snow conditions.

The extremely rigid Pebax® shell precisely transmits foot pressure to the ski. That's why "communication" between skier and ski are so natural. This year, the Denali presents a double injection cuff which hugs the tibia and enhances the qualities of this great ski touring boot even more. Last year, the Denali XT, thanks to the variants on the PLUSFIT® compression molded liner and the sporty micro adjust buckles, was considerably lighter than before (500 grams less).

The new Denali TT version performs even better and while it's a pleasure on winter ascents, it's a joy on the downhill, even on steep and difficult terrain.

The new TT is our performance-driven alpine touring boot and the benchmark by which other AT boots are now judged. This season’s cuff evolution increases touring capabilities as well as improves skiing performance. In touring mode the new cuff release lever allows the cuff to flex farther fore and aft while hiking. The redesigned mechanism allows you to easily adjust your forward lean and customize it for your skiing style. SCARPA’s new Dual-Density overlap cuff and power strap reduce excess space, boosting your skiing performance by efficiently transferring your input to the ski. Comfort is realized in the lightweight Dual-Density thermo-moldable liner—soft on the inside and stiff on the outside. Four beefy metal buckles crank down yet are easy to micro-adjust with gloved hands.

This AT Boot has several great features. The heat molded lining is great for a custom fit. I love the high cuff - it allows for a more "downhill" performance.

I use this boot almost exclusively now. It's not a downhill boot, of course, but I think it's the closest thing yet developed.

I have used these exclusively now for two seasons from backcountry trips to resort skiing in both the Sierra and the Alps. The thermomoldable liners are super comfotable and these are the only boots I've had where my feet feel fine after a long day of skiing. The boots perform well too. I plan to use these for ski mountaineering on Shasta and in Colorado in the near future as trips arise. My only complaint now is that they are not Dynafit compatable, not a big problem since I only use Fritschi right now, but it limits my options in the future.

"I leave Sisyphus at the foot of the mountain! One always finds one's burden again. But Sisyphus teaches the higher fidelity that negates the gods and raises rocks. He too concludes that all is well. This universe henceforth without a master seems to him neither sterile nor futile. Each atom of that stone, each mineral flake of that night filled mountain, in itself forms a world. The struggle itself toward the heights is enough to fill a man's heart. One must imagine Sisyphus happy."   --Albert Camus
