Voted 5/5 | I have been very pleased with the snowshoeing experience with these snowshoes. They are comfortable, easy to handle in the cold, the bindings do not stick, and they are great with load distribution. I would recommend these for day-hikes or winter backpacking/peakbagging trips where more weight would be carried. | | Posted Jan 7, 2005 6:29 am | | AltitudeSickness | 1st Snowshoe | |
Voted 3/5 | These shoes were first tried on Quandry Peak. They enabled me to stay on top of the snow very well. For a first time user I found them easy to put on and take off. The Crampons bit well into the snow also. The temps were as low as 35 below and they worked just fine. | | Posted Jan 3, 2008 7:03 pm |
