Voted 5/5 | I have used my R5 in every season but find I like it best as the only layer when its cool weather. Its often my only layer other than a light wind shell. It allows me to keep the sun off the neck. It also wicks very well. A worthy addition to my gear closet. | | Posted Dec 18, 2004 11:46 am | | Dow Williams | Untitled Review | |
Voted 5/5 | I climb and ski in Canada 365 days a year, but don't wear big jackets. I am the zen master of layering...and the one layer that goes on all trips, all the time is this shirt. There will never be a better one for me and I have said this now for 3 years. Of course a zip is a must no matter, you have to be able to make a temperature adjustment without removing your pack. This material just wicks and dries better than any other I have used. It is tough as nails and feels good as well. They have a thinner version, but I prefer to wear a short sleeve tech t-shirt and then this R.5 as my absolute base, winter or summer. Cheers! | | Posted Jun 2, 2005 11:41 am |
