Voted 5/5 | This is one awesome tent. Plenty of room. Pitches in no time and is easily manipulated with gloves on. Almost no condensation inside. Bombproof in superwindy conditions. Rear access to extra vestuble space is a bit small but good for boots or other gear (not a whole pack). But with the room in this bad boy you almost don't need it. There is enough room for 3 175lb people to jam in there warmly. | | Posted Feb 8, 2005 12:51 pm | | CBakwin | Annapurna
Hasn't voted | I have one of these and use it when really bomb proof tent is needed. I find it roomy and comfortable, well built and well thought out. The only down side is the weight, closer to 9 lbs with guy lines, stakes..... | | Posted Apr 19, 2007 10:02 am | | ExcitibleBoy | Annapurna
Hasn't voted | I have one and used it on a couple of trips, one to Denali. I like the space and layout but had problems with the poles. I managed to break one of the plastic pole tips right off the bat and the shock cord unthreaded from another pole tip leaving the pole in pieces. I never did find all the pieces in the snow and had to splint the pole. Other than the tent pole tips the tent is very robust and storm worthy and liveble. | | Posted Feb 3, 2008 8:50 pm |
