Voted 4/5 | I have inherited it from my dad this summer so I've still used this baselayer a few times. I've worn it with without any insulated top above. The wind was moderate and the temperature 12ºC / 54F. I was a little cold and I put it on. It got some cold so it didn't warm me at all. The other day I wore it with a Gore-Tex jacket above, because it was snowing slightly and the temperature lowed to 5ºC / 41F, and it warmed. So I deduce that it gets cold in windy conditions without any other garment above. I prefer those full weight or some other fleece tops. Cotton get soaked earlier than DRYflo but I believe that is more comfortable. The zip is a good thing to control the body temperature and the high neck is nice too. | | Posted Oct 7, 2004 9:11 pm |
